Information For Patients

 

Procure your medicines only from licensed retail pharmacies (chemist shops). Insist on obtaining a bill / cash memo or invoice for your medicines as this is your major guaranttee against spurious / counterfeit medicines.

Your medicines may expire well before their
date of expiry if not stored properly.

Store your medicines in a cool, dark & dry place.
Kitchen or bathroom cabinets are not the
appropriate storage places.

Taking alcohol along with medicines can be harmful.

The medicines prescribed for you are meant for
you only. Do not give them to others even if their symptons are similar

For common ailments - consult your Pharmacist.
If the symptoms persist beyond 3 days refer your doctor.

Do not self medicate other than for minor ailments, or for more than 3 days.

Do not discontinue taking your prescribed medicines until advised by your doctor.
Take complete course of the prescribed medicines
particularly if they are antibiotics.
